Blogads Poll

It is time for the annual blogads poll of Informed Comment readers. The information gathered is most useful for the advertisers, who support a lot of the blogosphere, so I'm grateful to all who make time to answer these questions.

The Blogads survey is a bit insular.

The thing about blogs is that they are a global communications medium. Asking me whether I read Soldier of Fortune in the UK must skew the results of the survey.

There was only one UK media title that I recognised and I expect that the Guardian referred to is in fact an American newspaper.

Interesting problem for advertisers that will be simplified by Web2 that will allow targeted content delivery.

As Informed Comment is read all the way from Pennsylvania Avenue to Toopkhaneh Square, the agency needs to keep the breadth of its audience in mind.

There were also no papers in languages other than English. My daily reading starts with Die Tageszeitung, and I was put out by the fact that there wasn't even an "other" option where I could list it and others.
