The Nation looks at the global politics of soccer with reference to Iran. Americans don't realize it, but soccer politics is what makes most of the world go round.

Iranians, specially the populations of smaller cities really love Football.

If Iranian team is kiecked out of the world cup competition, I'm sure that this action only worsens the problems, since Iranian people will feel betrayed by the world and will be more inclined to believe government words..

I hope it doesn't happen.

Angele Merkel is pissing me off.

Why punish the Iranians for the words of Ahmadinejad?
It disgusts me when a LIBERAL newspaper depicted the Iranian soccer team as a bunch of suicide bombers. And you thought the Jerusalem Post is most despicable newspaper ever.

I guess the Germans are now facing the "German-Guilt" syndrome.

You must be kiddin me when a nation who once had 99% of its population supporting the Nazi is calling others as Nazi.Ahmadinejad didn't kill anyone and regardless how stupid his rhetorics are,he would not kill anyone who does not kill the Iranians.

Why didn't Merkel take action on Israel,a nation that dropped a bomb in a football stadium at Gaza and a nation that refused to abide the International laws?

Can we start by banning us too, after all we started illegal wars, didn't we?

Western Hypocrisy at its best.
