As you put it, this in fact is an END game drama. it is time for the US to play it's strongest hand. It's no secret by now that the military hand was a weak hand, so with a grain of optimism: The US with all it's internal division on foreign polices, can force, yes force, a dignified exit by insuring a dignified ellection. Otherwise, as grumpy old man would put it if he comments, "this would be a free ticket for the republicans to run on."
So with all due respect to vice president Biden, in charge of this, he put his foot is his mouth again, and suggested the division of Iraq along the sectarian lines. What would be the purpose of this ellection then?
President Obama, either give VP Biden a strong hand to put on the table, or send a better player! Leila.

Mr. Cole:

Do we have a sense of what the Iraqi citizens want to happen? Is there general support (or not) for allowing the ex-Baathists to run, or does public opinion break down along sectarian lines with Sunnis FOR and Shiites AGAINST?
