When did US bomb Iran?
In answer to the first comment, in 1953 the CIA and the Brits covertly overthrow the Iranian democracy and replaced it with the vile dictator Shah, who proceeded to torture and murder thousands of his countrymen. (The CIA trained the Iranian secret police, the Savak, how to torture…)
In more recent times, the US has engaged in several covert attacks on Iran.
