  2. Juan, This poem specially so dear that I decided to post this redundant version also as it exactly conveys the same meaning in your translation.

    Before I and you even existed there were days and nights
    The rotating heaven was doing its work (doing what heaven does.)
    Watch, do not step, but lightly, on earth
    As it (the earth you are stepping on) was the Apple of Eye of an Apple of an Eye.

    “Mardomak of chashm” in Persian is the exact physical “apple of eye”, and “negar” in Persian is the same expression as “apple of an eye”.
