Omar Khayyam (47)

Posted on 03/01/2012 by Juan

No one can pierce
the veil of mystery.
No one’s soul is aware
of this arrangement.
Only in the heart
of the black earth
do we have a home.
A shame this story
isn’t short.

    Hi Professor Cole,

I was wondering if you could post the original next to your translated text when you post on Omar Khayyam? I read Persian and would love to read it next to your words :).

Thank you for your kind consideration.

    Best Wishes,
    Susi
