  1. The Daily Telegraph showed a picture of Isreali tanks shelling gaza during yesterday daylight. (how accurate is that?) The story was taken down later after Hillary Clinton had arrived. Reminds me of Syria.

  2. IDF tank artillery fire

Bombing and shelling of Gaza by sea, air and land with artillery fire coming from IDF tanks. See photo. These targeted strikes have numbered far beyond the retaliatory rockets fired from Hamas and militant positions in Gaza. The ugly face of war has just escalated further with a bus bombing in Tel Aviv. Why did Hillary Clinton travel to Ramallah?

Fact sheet: Operation Cast Lead – a 22 day assault on the Gaza Strip. Today Israel has amassed more troops (75,000) at the border and are prepared to do more damage to Gaza infrastructure and impose more hardship the civilian population in Operation Cast Lead 2.0.

According to Israeli spokesmen a suspect is being held and it was the work of an “independent operator” not affiliated to any major groups. 27 have been wounded and the explosion was near the IDF military HQ.

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri praised the attack, however observers have felt it could dash hopes of a imminent cease-fire agreement.

Hilary Clinton and PM Abbas were photographed together as a cease-fire agreement was announced to take effect at 9:00 p.m. tonight.

  3. Israel seemed pretty safe under its Iron Dome. Israel has superior military strength in the region. Why is it constantly wringing its hands about being wiped off the map by its neighbors?

If only Israel had a generous heart; if only Israel would work for peace and play fair.

  4. I often forget that hard fact — if the blockade is about security and keeping weapons out of Gaza, then why doesn’t Israel let them export their goods? Is it really about security, or is it about collectively punishing a population? The evidence fits the latter suggestion, especially with the “calorie counts” and other assorted news that has come out over the years.
