Dear President Obama:
I voted for you hoping that in your second term you’d free yourself of bondage to the exigencies of domestic politics and become a true leader, at home and abroad. But your unwavering subservience, domestically for example, to the austerity bomb (in Krugman’s terminology) and internationally for example, to Israeli colonialism indicate that you are not the bold domestic leader and international statesman the country and globe so desperately need. By choosing to follow the easy path of political expediency you condemn your presidency to failure at a truly pivotal time in the history of the country and the world..
