CRUCIFIXION. The Crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ is denied by the teaching of the Qur’an. [JESUS CHRIST.] It is a punishment sanctioned by the Muslim religion for highway robbers (Hamilton’s Hidayah, vol. ii. 131.)
