(Gen. xviii, 13.) Immoderate laughing is generally condemned by Muslim teachers, for ‘Ayishah relates that Muhammad “never laughed a full laugh so that the inside of his mouth could be seen; he only smiled.” (Mishkat, book xxii. ch. vii)
