This is a non-biased depiction of the situation in Egypt. I'll share.
My problem is with the amount of speculation that is going on. Sisi hasn't been tested or tried; the only thing that he has got working for him today is the love of Egyptians. And that's big.
If he can get Egyptians to listen, understand, and may be deliver, he will have won a feat no one else can succeed in.
See "Why do Egyptians revere him so? http://azzasedky.typepad.com/egypt/2014/01/why-do-egyptians-revere-him-so-1.html
Western style satire is fine; you just have to present it to folks who can appreciate it or are used to it. If you know Egyptians well, you will realize that humiliation is not something they understand, so to humiliate or belittle their best/leaders goes deeply against their norm. Yes, it was fine to ridicule Morsi because they didn't care much about him.
See my take on Youssef's episode. "And the winner isn't Basem Youssef" http://azzasedky.typepad.com/egypt/2013/10/and-the-winner-isnt-bassem-youssef.html
I disagree with the gist of this article. After one terror attack on civilians after the other and the death of Egyptians in many violent terror attempts, Egypt was boiling. Mansoura's disaster sealed the MB's fate. And don't tell me that Ansar Bayt El Maqdis are not connected to the MB. Why the escalation after Morsi's ousting if they are not connected.
My article of only two days ago: defunct. Still, it tells you why the designation of the MB as a terrorist group happened.

Sidetracking slightly, I find the photograph of Pres. Bush with Pres Mubarak, and the assumption that a president is shaking hands with a dictator quite presumptuous on your part. President Bush would fall under many regimes and categories as the worse of the two. In case you have forgotten, remember Iraq??
