Thank you for your brutal honesty! Many Americans at the time seemed so caught up with the government and media propaganda. How could people not be caught up, that was all the media reported. For Bush, the claims of weapons of mass destruction was a stunt to get us all on board for the invasion. Shame on us for believing the Bush rhetoric. As a result of Bush’s international policies and the anti-war sentiment, the world’s view of the U.S. plummeted. These negative views were held by Russia, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, and Spain. There is a Pew Research publication dated March 18, 2003 that verifies this information. For those individuals who believe that the past is for people who cannot live in the present, how did you come up with that conclusion? The reason the past is always addressed, is that it history has proven that the past always repeats itself. I hope the Yazidis people were able to get some relief of their misery from the humanitarian aid drops. Can you imagine having no food, water, or shelter and believing the world has forgotten you? It is certainly not something I could imagine.
