I know it may be an oversimplification of the 'problem', if one can call it that, but I believe that Islam as a way of life needs to be taught to the young (& most certainly re-learnt by the not-so-young), with the overarching idea that ALL of the precepts of religion has to conform to the principle "GOD is One, & Humanity is one; and hence Service to Humanity IS Service to GOD". If any thought, word, or deed, is in contradiction with this principle, then it falls outside of religion (Islam).
