The Christians of Lebanon were/are the indigenous inhabitants of central Lebanon, along with the Druze, with Sunni Muslim settlements in the coastal cities and the far north and Shi'ite Muslims in the south and the northeast. How on earth is their state in any way like the foreign settler regimes of Israel or French Algeria?
2. Why is the United States singled out as being responsible for not accepting millions of Jewish immigrants in the 1930's-1940's? Why not Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand? Are foreigners entitled to entry to this country but to no other?
