I agree with Bill, although I see Trump as a lot worse than Hillary, at least Hillary is not inciting violence and promising to begin torturing alleged terrorist. Hillary will continue the democratic corporate agenda, corporations do what they want, wall street bends the rules, monsanto rep's regulate the food industry, free trade. Only Bernie will defend the middle class. But Gary is also right, everyone hears socialist and pictures Stalin, and a nation where everyone gets the same salaries.
I bet the majority of most nations hate their home countries foreign policy, the leaders of the world are playing dangerous games without their citizens support, and some how they continue to get re-elected, east/west, democracy/theocracy, capitalism/communist, it does not matter, elite leaders around the world do whatever they want
love the line that if Israeli crushes Hamas something more dangerous will develop. So true. I see hamas an al quida just as you do professor cole, as symptoms of a larger problem. And we address political symptoms just like we do health symptoms, instead of looking at the root cause ( bad diet, no exercise, a ton of stress) we turn to pharmaceutical companies to buy a pill that will mask the symptoms. Yet the root illness will find another way to pop up, in a stronger way. If you dont heal the root cause, the symptoms will get louder and louder.
Just give these guys there own country already. How the US could not support this when it was brought to the UN was beyond me. The only logical argument is that israel wont be safe, but could the be any more unsafe than they are now?
I agree with Richard below, maybe the sunni's are allying themselves with ISIS because that is there only hope in having any kind of say in the country. If the government of maliki or whomever, allows the Sunni to be part of the process they may ditch ISIS, no?
I dont think the arguement is to give most power to sunni and kurd, but more power. It has to be a three way sharing of power or just split the country up. No one would enjoy living under the rule of another group who does not have your interests in mind.
term limits and than public financing of elections, no more donations means no more favors.

More oil on the market? woohooo. Hopefully the airlines will start cutting the price of a ticket.
