Imagine if the shooter was a Muslim and it was found that an Imam who is known for "radical" speech has put up a map of US with cross-hairs and congresswoman's name next to one of them ....
The shooter is a terrorist. This was the latest terror attack on US soil. If he was a Muslim, even a lone, unstable Muslim, this certainly would have been called that.
The point is to highlight the lack of consistency in the use of emotive terms such as "terrorist".
