It is dangerous to blame the Iraq disaster on only Maliki. Most of those holding governmental seats today have been part of this murderous government since 2003. Why is it that IS/AQI's crimes are considered horrific, but Shia militias' crimes not? What makes Bayan Jaber, Jaafari, Hadi Al-Amiri, Muhammad Al-Ghaban, Adil Abdul Mahdi & the whole Hakeem bunch 'politicians' vs. cold blood murderers... but all hold government positions in Iraq today, and are treated as such.
Very sad situation in Iraq today, but surprising it did not happen years ago.
