Bush was dishonest, weak and immature in lying about the supposed causes of his wars . . . and engaging in a guns-a-blazing invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Clinton appears to be dishonest, weak and sneaky, proudly becoming the new standard-bearer for the neocons and pretending that US aggression doesn't matter so long as those being killed aren't Americans. Trump comes across as being too unfamiliar with the concept of morality to care what he says or does; while Johnson is too ignorant to be accused of intent, whether it be good or bad. The only apparent solution is to keep repeating, "Ain't really my life, ain't really my life, ain't really nothing but a movie."
Just a few days ago pundits screamed, "Coalition jets scrambled to defend U.S. forces from Syrian bombing" (Reuters), and now we're told by the Obama administration it's OK as long as the perpetrator is a NATO ally. Having Turkey and CIA-backed terrorists attack US military-backed forces isn't just a snafu, it's the final proof that the goal of US involvement in Syria is destabilization of that country and perpetuation of bloodshed, not democritization or rescue from the "mobster" Assad.
Personalizing the issue is an anti-intellectual tactic. The spin doctors proclaimed that we had to take-out the monster Saddam Hussein, rescue Libya from the evil Ghadaffi, and now unseat the "mobster" Assad as if just a single person was involved, hoping that no one would notice the reality of war - hundreds of thousands killed, millions displaced. It isn't mobsterism when the US invades and bombs people, however, it's "liberating" them. Let's start a new trend in the run-up to the 2016 election - tell the plain, unvarnished truth.
Clinton's gestures are in the, "Throw them a bone," category. She will not be a reputable candidate unless she forswears military adventurism, but she's apparently in too deep to the Israel Lobby to do that.
Remember the interesting coincidence that the Lewinsky story broke while Clinton was meeting with Arafat? It's amazing that now the Brussels attack occurred at the moment Obama was reveling in his foreign policy triumph in Cuba, which in turn occurred just a few weeks after Netanyahu for some unimaginable reason angrily canceled his scheduled meeting with Obama.
The purpose of Trump's candidacy is to subvert the electoral process. The Republican bosses will run their own candidate (Cruz) if Trump gets the nomination, and Trump will run as an independent if the convention is brokered. Either way there will be a three-way race in November, and the decision goes to the House if no one gets a majority of electoral votes. Let's say Clinton gets 47%, Trump 40% and Cruz 13% - guess who the Republican-controlled House will select? All those decades of gerrymandering are about to pay-off.
It's incorrect to say that Saudis are peaceful when they finance terrorism abroad, particularly in Syria. All this situation means is that they're cowardly as well as violent.

Just like Spain under Franco
