Once again, a nice piece from Mr.Cole.
As a Christian, I don't know much about Islam or the Qu'ran. Now my guess is, if the Qu'ran tells about the story of Mary and Jesus. then the Qu'ran must have contained about the teaching of Jesus also.
so I want to know, does the Qu'ran tells about the teaching of Jesus?
The airstrikes in Syria is a welcome development.
In 2013, the Russian Government offered to disarm the Syrian's chemical weapons. It appears that they failed in that regard.
From 2013 to 2017 several chemical weapons has been used against the rebels and civilians. All blamed on rebels !!! . If the victims were Government, Iran or Hezbollah's troops, one could easily points fingers to the rebels. But no, that was not the case.
The Syrian government should be held accountable and should be punished accordingly.
Well let the Syrian government do what the Egyptian government did, by signing a peace deal with Israel.
is that a bad thing?
Jordan did the same, and both Egyptian and Jordan government received their lands in the process.
excellent piec of writing, this is Ukraine 2.0.
just as Russia intervened in ukraine to protect her Russia-speaking people. Turkey also has a right to protect the Turkey -speaking indigens in Syria - turkmens.
Turkey warned Russia couple of months ago on similar incident. what measure did Moscow undertaked to prevent these occurrence, NON!!!
@Dave, i share your sentiments. in Nigeria, my country the price of a litre of petrol had even risen.
despite the fact that, crude oil price had dropped to 60.
@joan cole, please, let me know why the local price of petrol and transport had remained the same.
And i know the drop in price of crude oil surely affect our budget in Nigeria.
but then, i expect transport cost to drop also. which is not happening.
so pls, i need you to explain that. thanks.
To be fair both side ignored UN cease-fire proposal. Hamas wanted israelis troops to depart the Gaza trip before they can agree to a cease-fire. While the israelis wanted the tunnels destroyed. Both side have a legit claim on this matter and this where UN must rise up to these demands. Not just oral cease-fire.
