Note that the index is about perception of corruption. It would be a misconception to consider it a measure of existing corruption.
I have long asked myself who is interviewing, say, Afghans (#177) or North Koreans (#171) about their perception of corruption in their respective countries.
I am living in Norway (#3), according to another nonsense list home of the "happiest" people in the World. I am perceiving lots of corruption, worse than in Germany (#12). Norwegians apparently do not perceive here and there corruption in their country.
I wonder who pays this (German) think tank ("Transparency International") for that kind of "data".
The Qur'an, revealed in Late Antiquity, presupposes widespread knowledge of both the Torah and the Gospels (including what is considered apocryphons). German/French television channel ARTE has broadcast, in 2015, very revealing interviews with leading Orientalists/Arabists/Muslim experts. The six, each one hour long parts about Jesus in Islam are unfortunaely in German. You may find them at the end of my blogpost, see here: https://aliqapoo.com/2017/10/15/quran-in-context/
Hope you can enjoy anyway.
Hoping Robert Mueller's investigation will soon get the proper results that will pave the way for impeachment. P5+1 must develop into E3+2 and protect Iran now.
"There is nothing going on at the Parchin military base ..."
Well, the suspect site within the Parchin military base had been sanitized years ago. The alleged illicit activities there had been in the early 2000s.
Wasn't it "The Germans are evil, very evil"? Hasn't he made his remark on the very day when Angela Merkel had met with Barack Obama in Berlin, publicly at the Brandenburg Gate, on the occasion of the Protestant church biannual meeting? Trump the loser, sick of being compared with Obama who he hates. Trump, a man who calls Philippine's murderous president Rodrigo Duarte and congratulates him for effectively dealing with drug problems. Duarte hates Obama too. He had called him son of a wh**re. Putin, Erdogan, Duarte, KSA's Salman, bin Salman, that's Trump's company. Too bad.
They don't know anything about Islam as nobody told them. Even Obama, on 4 June 2009, talked about "the timeless city of Cairo", not understanding that Cairo was founded by the Fatimids in the 10th century.
As regards Trump's bizarre appearance in Riyadh, it might be remembered as the DRIVE THEM OUT speech. Whatever this guy has trumpted in the last 1 1/2 years or so, it mainly applies to himself.
Watching the inaugural ceremony and listening to his twisted "address" to "the people" one might instantly even think of Machtergreifung. Hitler and his thugs did not get the popular vote in 1933 either. A plot against America. Check carefully the new White House web page which was completely reshaped within an hour of Trump's move to his new home.
The still sitting president and Nobel prize laureate of 2009 should have a lower profile, really. He asks, "Where does this stop?" Obama has escalated a drone war to an extent nobody could ever imagine. He once joked, "Turns out, I'm really good at killing people." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/03/obama-drones-double-down_n_4208815.html
In a constitutional democracy that would have prompted prosecutor investigation. He should have asked himself, "Where does that stop?" Sad conclusion, that won't stop, neither with Trump or Clinton, rather the opposite.

It's not over. Trump will revoke that decision. Maybe on Saturday.
