"If made into a car battery pack, 1,200 cycles would translate to roughly 300,000 miles (480,000 km) – meaning that a battery pack could still retain about 95% of its original energy capacity after ~300,000 miles – or 25 years at the average 12,000 miles per year."
Depending on how weakened ISIS is after months of onslaught, i believe the biggest challenge in the middle east in 2016 might well be the position of the Kurds. With a defacto independent state in both Syria and Iraq, the Kurds are now close to a full rebellion in Turkey. The US position is all over the place, they are terrorists in Turkey, and the most important allies in Syria and Iraq. Russia on the other hand will probably support Kurdish independence because of the serious implications it will have in NATO.
It's electricity. Not energy. The vast quantities of energy used in cars and other forms of transportation dwarfs the amount of energy produced by green electricity generation.
At this point its necessary to subsidize coal in the US in order for it to be competitive against natural gas and wind energy for that matter.
And those numbers are getting even better, from an article published yesterday https://electrek.co/2017/05/04/tesla-battery-researcher-chemistry-lifcycle/

Few more examples, try asking abortion clinic workers in certain parts of the USA if they have felt terrorized doing their job. Last one killed was in 2009: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-abortion_violence#Murders
As for buddhist terrorism occurring right now, look no further then Sti Lanka: http://gulfnews.com/opinions/columnists/tears-of-muslims-in-divided-sri-lanka-1.1169972 The government is basically looking the other way, or members are even actively involved.
