I still remember his article, which I read on "Informed Comment," about economic inequality, where he recalled his experiences working for a year in a store (Perhaps it was related to his above-mentioned book on the 99 percent).

It is a beautiful novel. I’ve also learned a great deal about Zoroastrianism, and the portrayal of the ancient world is fascinating.
