The New York Times had an article a couple of Sundays ago which described how the Chinese are currently involved in constructing a large number of coal-fired power plants in a variety of other countries, including some which have not previously had such plants. China may be greening up within its borders, but not so much internationally.

The same sort of carbon dioxide sequestration in basalt was recently done in Iceland also.
Would the Russians hesitate to shell/bomb anti-al-Assad forces if they knew U.S. troops were among them calling in air strikes, etc.?
