Now listening and doing my morning routine - catching up on IC posts. Despite all the many times I have heard him in person and on TV/Radio, it had never occured to me until now that Juan Cole is a reverse of the usual model.

As a lawyer, I have encountered, more times than I can count or care to recall, the Usual Model, the type of person who is a tiger behind the the keyboard and a mouse in person.
