I was sued by a politician whom I blogged about. Fortunately, a major law firm took my case pro bono.
Today, a lawyer contacted me and requested I remove comments about his client on my blog, Proviso Probe.
One of the comments the lawyer wanted removed contained nothing defamatory.
Harassment by lawyers does seem to be a danger of blogging.
States should enact stronger protections against SLAPP lawsuits and allow punitive damages for BS suits.
