Pakistani Editor: 'Tancredo has Expressed his Evil, inner Self'
At IC Global Affairs, the editors of major Pakistani newspapers reply to Tom Tancredo and Barack Obama.
The issue came up again at the AFL-CIO debate in Chicago last night, with Obama being generally criticized by the other candidates not so much for the policy but for the unnuanced way he articulated it.

Rather than a deterrent al-Qaeda, nuking Mecca will be a boon to it. The Salafis do not care much for religous monuments, in fact they oppose them. But think of the recruiting value if the USA actually did it!
Am I the only one who finds this strange? For years people have passionately championed the idea that we must aggressively fight a war on terror, tracking down Al Qaeda wherever they hide, making sure they have no safe sanctuary. This is part of the Bush doctrine, and we've been literally forced fed this idea for years! We are also told that top leaders of Al Qaeda are held up in the mountains of Pakistan, possibly even Bin Laden himself.
Yet, when asked, Barak Obama says that he would take military action into the mountains of Pakistan if he had to, even if the president of Pakistan didn't support this. All people, including the bush administration, right-wingers, and even democrats, decried what Obama said like you wouldnt believe! What the heck??? Am I missing something here? These same fools who voted on the war on iraq, a civil war, are now saying that we must fight the real enemies who caused 911.
