MAGPIE Arabic ‘aq’aq
According to Ab’u Hanifnh, the flesh of the magpie is mubah, or indifferent; but the Imam Yusuf held it to be makruh, or reprobated, because it frequently feeds on dead bodies. (Hiddyah, vol. iv. p. 74.)
