This book was published in 1895! Islamic studies have actually progressed a bit in the last hundred odd years. In fact the entries reprinted here are oozing with nonsense. Why don’t you look at the Encyclopedia of Islam, 2nd edition, Brill, now complete, compiled by leading modern scholars.
