My appearance on Monday at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. at an event of the Muslim Public Affairs Council in connection with the book launch of my newest, Engaging the Muslim World is now online. Engaging the Muslim World

Relevant to this event is the new opinion poll by Gallup and the Coexist Foundation that found a high degree of commitment by European Muslims to their European countries of residence– sometimes a higher degree of commitment than the mainstream European public. This finding contrasts with common assertions by pundits of disloyalty or alienation among Western Muslims toward their adopted lands.
