“The water levels at many places receded in Mumbai, but the situation remains far from normal. The water levels are dipping across the city including worst affected areas like Dadar circle where the water had reached chest deep height. The weather man has predicted very heavy rain falls in the next 48 hours. Due to heavy downpour and subsequent water logging in various parts of Western Railway’s Mumbai Division, 17 long distance trains have been cancelled.”
