Limbaugh is an entertainer/businessman. He is entirely given over to measuring his performance by his ratings and their effect on advertising. The ratings are up or they are down, but they are never negative.
It might be fun to circulate a letter, basically one of censure, flooding his ISP. It would be a lot more fun to circulate a list of his advertisers to boycott.
Limbaugh's remarks which he magnified with his demand for video, was called nothing more than "absurd" by Santorum who attempts to portray himself as a religious and spiritual man, one we might presume to be in possession of a keen sense of right and wrong and moral courage to go with it. Romney has remained silent and it appears that Gingrich has as well. So much for moral courage.
Perhaps now the Republican National Committee will finally realize what many of us hoping for a GOP candidate of stature, came to terms with weeks ago, namely that none of the current candidates are by temperment, intellect or character, fit to be president.
The elite under-represented? Wertsch, in her book, "Military Brats," (1991) found compelling evidence that when it came to an undeclared war fought to ultimately be lost, military officers and politicians did their best to see that their children did not become cannon fodder. I know this first hand, and many should remember the curious path one individual took to get into the Texas Air National Guard and stay away from combat or much in the way of other duties as well.
Remember: "Cryig wolf" is now a whole industry.
