MANAT منات
An idol mentioned in the Qur’an, Surah liii. 19, 20: ‘What think ye, then, of al-Lat and ai-‘Uzza, and Manat, the third idol besides.”
According to Husain, it was an idol of the tribes of Huzail and Khaza’ah. For a discussion of the subject, see the article on LAT.
