Good article, but there's one thing I disagree with:
As noted, the detention of American sailors was their own fault and they did commit a wrong so if they apologized that was only right (what do you think would happen if 10 Iranian sailors came up near the New York shore?).
An apology was in order; we did screw up; but it should have come at a diplomatic level. Parading our soldiers on Iranian TV was at best classless and most likely illegal. Not that we should respond with any thing exceeding a mild rebuke, but that was a cheesy, tin-pot move on Iran's part.
