Janelle Carlson is a graduate student at the University of Bayreuth and a graduate of the University of South Dakota’s International Studies Program where she focused on the Middle East, minority rights and genocide studies. She has published in Informed Comment, Responsible Statecraft, and The International Journal of Yazidi Studies.
