Baitu’l Hamd

BAITU ‘L-HAMD بيت الحمد.

“The House of Praise.” An expression which occurs in the Traditions (Mishkat, v. 7). When the soul of a child is taken, God says, “Build a house for my servant in Paradise and call it a house of praise.”
