Baqiul Gharqad

BAQI’U ‘L-GHARQAD بقيع الغرقد or for shortness al-Baqi البقيع.

The burying-ground at al-Medinah, which Muhammad used to frequent at night to pray for forgiveness of the dead. (Mishkat, iv. c. 28)
