Yep - they're considering it, but under wrong interpretation of campaign. This is not a call to boycott, it targets governments to abide by their obligations under int'l law not to recognize, directly or indirectly, or assist in an illegal situation - like the Israeli settlement enterprise.
The campaign does not target consumers. The burden should not ever be on the consumer. The burden is on the gov't to ban all settlement goods from ever reaching U.S. markets or third party state companies domiciled in their respective countries from operating in settlement or in settlement goods.
AI takes no position on the BDS movement or on boycotts, but AI DOES support the right of persons to protest and to use non-violent actions to express their conscientiously held beliefs. AI supports the right to boycott, but is not calling for a boycott.
