  • 5 Surprising Signs of Positive Change in 2016
    • getoffmedz 12/29/2016 at 12:59 pm with 2 replies

During the next four years these five wonderful points will mean “zip.” For example -
      1. “We gained a new respect for Mother Earth” by melting the polar icecaps.
      2. “We learned how to heal violence” by making sure there are enough guns in America for every man, woman and child to pack two.
      3. “We acknowledged the leadership of people of color” by allowing a racist Congress to demean our President at every turn.
      4. “We embraced a presidential campaign based on economic justice” but elected an unqualified member of the 1% and his ilk.
      5. “We witnessed the start of the fight for real science” by denying climate science for the sake of pure greed and porcine stupidly and because it is “inconvenient.”

  • Trump mires us in carbon Swamp with fossil cronies in key roles
    • getoffmedz 01/01/2017 at 12:59 am

If your blackout revolt becomes annoying to the power companies they will simply get their state to ban shutting down your dwelling power source and with “smart meters" now common it would easy to enforce. Like Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma all have statutes prohibiting the banning of fracking by local towns and cities because it annoyed the gas extraction industry.

Donald J. Trump with nuclear capability is like a curious adolescent boy with his first string of firecrackers, Trump can’t wait to light some off. He has asked “if we have them why don’t we use them?”

      link to snopes.com

Apparently, the fact that at this very moment cruising silently beneath our oceans is sufficient combined thermonuclear firepower to kill every living thing on the surface of our planet, three times over - has escaped the President-elect because he has publicly stated he wants MORE.

Here is why we don’t use them. link to google.com

Perhaps someone not insane on his transition team could stay up to suggest Trump search the word “pikadon” - whilst during one of his loony 3am Twitter rampages?

“Jesus was a radical nonviolent revolutionary who hung around with lepers, hookers and crooks; wasn’t American and never spoke English; was anti-wealth, anti-death penalty, and even anti-public prayer (Matthew 6:5); but was never anti-gay, never mentioned abortion or birth control, never called the poor lazy, never justified torture, never fought for tax cuts for the wealthiest Nazarenes, never asked a leper for a copay; and was a long haired, brown-skinned, homeless community-organizing, anti-slut-shaming Middle Eastern Jew.” @JohnFugelsang

It is doubtful that President-elect Trump has ever spent much time with an “average” U.S. citizen and family.

And perhaps the most disturbing of his manifold inadequacies as our President. Unless persons are part of the top 1% of wealth Trump has no clue, whatsoever.

  • Mr. Trump: Government and War are too Serious to be entrusted to the Generals
    • getoffmedz 12/24/2016 at 12:49 pm

The recent outburst of anti-Chinese rhetoric by the President-elect merely mirrors by proxy the feelings held by a leader of a country which shares a 2,607 mi. border with China. Putin would feel it essential to have a strong military ally in the eventuality of China–Russia military belligerence. Trump would become Putin’s ‘useful’ idiot with such an alliance especially with the walking-talking conflict of interest ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson, as Secretary of State.

Trump is an undisciplined amateur at this level of power and leadership, he will be drawn to stronger more experienced leaders for example and tacit guidance. Like other CEOs, assorted tyrants and retired Generals with the onset of dementia.

The inbreds and damaged of America and their kin are large in number, obviously. This election has brought out a much suppressed FACT. Brain birth defects in our country are a much greater problem than previously observed. ESPECIALLY, within the WASP population.

      • First observable mass symptom - the flawed and pithed move in large herds much like cattle unable to resist ‘the herd’ peer-group pressures and bullying.
      • 2nd observable mass symptom - adhering to the concept that the color of skin makes one unquestionably superior, a sense of superiority which makes one need to arm themselves tantamount to war. . . . . . .
      • 3rd observable mass symptom - An active dysfunctional response to the “n••••rs” in the White House is not the work of a complete brain.
      • 4th observable mass symptom - Inability to clearly differentiate between “knowing” and “believing” which renders ‘the herd’ easy to misdirect and fool.
      • 5th observable mass symptom in primarily damaged white males - Latent or overt misogyny ranging from a feeling of superiority to be a male to “pussy-grabbing” and rape, spousal abuse and worse.

All of this from recessive genes fired off by excessive in-breeding and/or fetal brain damage due to one or more partners chemically altered with lots of alcohol or chemicals found in ‘white-trash’ stimulants during conception.

It’s not that the 1% doesn’t believe in climate science fact, the refusal for acceptance is based in pure sloth and greed. The fossil fuel industry absolutely does know that they are destroying our planet. The goal is make as much profit as possible before things get really bad. The fossil fuel industry and those who benefit have become dangerous planetary vermin and are now directly in control of the only thing that could stop them.

Apparently, National Security takes a low priority with President-elect Trump compared to flying around at taxpayer expense still campaigning for President. One of his family members should tell Trump has been selected by a bunch of wealthy people in the Electoral College and to stop fan-timing and settle down.

Trump is indifferent to Security Briefings and does not regularly attend them which is a total insult to those who protect us, day in and day out. Attending them will lay bare Trump’s stunning ignorance and lack of knowledge sufficient to be our President.

Trump’s stunning ignorance and lack of knowledge and obvious inability to focus attention clearly jeopardizes everyone especially those with a lot to lose. The PRIVATE SECTOR eliminated many those jobs through automation. The onset of the use of robots the U.S. and abroad has skyrocketed. Eliminating hundreds of thousands of assembly jobs.

Automotive assembly jobs have been greatly impacted by robots.

Unprecedented in U.S. history, the FBI and Russia openly working to sway a Presidential election against the leading candidate.

In gaining this odious and risky support, it is fair to ask what has Trump promised behind the scenes?

Here we have the FBI and Russia working in concert attempting to have an effect on our national election through character assassination of the leading candidate.

The constitution of the United States, art. 3, s. 3, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war (q.v.) against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort. This offense is punished with death.

Professor Cole, the above cited list of non-electable positions which Trump stands for is all embarrassing U.S. history. What Trump and his followers are doing now is much more important in it’s potential destructive nature.

      • Trump is using Republican money to develop a system which can “determine the personality of every single adult in the United States of America,” said Alexander Nix, CEO of Cambridge Analytica who is developing Trump’s system.
      • Actively undermining long-standing American institutions such as our national election process.
      • Promising a purge similar to Turkey iif elected. “Draining the swamp”.
      • Followers promising open rebellion if Trump is defeated.

Professor Cole, you are very correct, “the Republic is in danger.”

A - Self -interest and greed. The promise of tax breaks, non-enforcement of regulations and “deal-making” during policy structuring are promised by Trump, hard to resist by the 1%. Trump is a 70 year-old CEO, after-all.

All Republicans will rue the day they allowed allegedly wealthy bully,ego-maniac Donald Trump to take over the GOP in what amounts to a bloodless but feces-smeared true un-American coup d'état.

Trump and his followers are becoming increasingly bold and more out-of-control on a daily basis. Look for the “certain-things-are-left-unsaid” Trump militia to surface more and more aka “red hat cops.”

Trump knows he will lose and will be disruptive and vindictive in defeat by proxy to keep the attention on himself.

    • getoffmedz 10/09/2016 at 11:04 am

Donald Trump has no regard for any military below the rank of General or Admiral. Trump's attitude towards those who served during Vietnam - were not as heroic as those who "took deferments. " Only "losers" get captured. And those afflicted with PTSD are "weak" Trump claims everything he needs to know about military service he can learn "in the movies."

How any veteran who served in wartime could give this privileged, without-a-clue snob their vote is an insult to their brothers and sisters-in-arms, past and present.

  • The Presidential Debate that did not really Happen
    • getoffmedz 09/28/2016 at 3:08 pm

Candidate Trump lives in his own ego-bloated world, sees reality as it “ought-to -be” not as it actually exists. He is a potentially dangerous psychopath as he flagrantly engenders deviant behavior and attitudes across the woefully undereducated and willfully ignorant, gullible percentage of our population, the epicenter of his support. Exploiting FAUXNews driven anger and extremist right-wing conspiracy beliefs for his own gain.

The cited Tweet clearly demonstrates this candidate spends far too much time on Twitter and not enough time in serious study regarding actual issues that will directly affect this nation in reality - not as tremendous business deals for himself and candidate holdings.
