  • Calls for stripping Natalie Portman of Israel Citizenship for criticizing Shooting Palestinian Protesters
    • Marianna 04/22/2018 at 4:27 am with 3 replies

So much for the "only true democracy" in the Middle East.
Whatever happened to free speech, and being able to refuse attending an award's ceremony, in protest of a massacre, that is part of being "democratic", with no vicious backlash?
It is time US leaders acknowledge the world "democracy" does not seem to apply in many ways in their top charitable cause, and favorite rogue state it aids and arms. Democracy is non existent when it comes to protesting Israel's endless crimes against civilians.

MNBS may be paying millions for PR consultants, to do what he is doing right now, trying to pull a rabbit out of a keffiyeh, to change Saudi Arabia's terrible image, but who is he fooling? Only the naive, and the ignorant. Someone should interview the Saudi's who were imprisoned at the Ritz Carlton, and find how how they were treated for weeks, someone should have asked him (Oprah?) why children are dying in Yemen for lack of food and water, and someone one should ask him why SA is radicalizing Muslims worldwide. Those are the tough questions.

You are right, there is no public evidence of collusion, but going by how Robert Mueller is turning every stone, has widened the investigation, hired more investigators and prosecutors, I would say he is finding a lot of interesting nuggets to work on, than the public will know.

It is a shame that Theresa May does not have higher principles, and that the UK and the US are selective in their outrage with these nations. Saudi Arabia is notorious for human rights abuses, and discriminating women, yet they continue to ignore what they would have been outraged about, had this been Iran.

This young Prince, has sold his soul, and his country, to the devil. He is in bed with Israel, and conspiring with it, to attack
Iran, and as the world can see has also viciously blockaded Qatar (learnt it from the master of blockades, Israel). He is turning his country, into yet another aggressor in the region, using UK, US and most probably Israeli weapons and training, to kill innocent civilians in Yemen. Who thought the keepers of Islam's two holiest Mosques, would be cohorts with Israel, the long time occupier of the ME? This is an evil and dangerous prince, and what he has done, is disgusting.

Pot calling the kettle. Saudi Arabia, with support of the US, and conspiring with Israel, is one of the most dangerous Arab nations in the region. No young prince, nor allowing women to drive, can change it's image around the world. They are wasting their money paying expensive consultants to perform a miracle.

  • Netanyahu & Trump, both under Investigation, Meet on phony 'Deal of the Century'
    • marianna 03/05/2018 at 3:24 am

Netanyahu's charade goes on. The world knows by now, that if he genuinely wanted peace with the Palestinians, he would have ended the occupation, and stopped the illegal settlements long time ago....he just wants to status quo to go on, he even turned down fighter jets to attend peace talks, when the Obama administration tried to initiate peace talks.
Netanyahu wants to steal as much land as he can for Israel.
He keeps blaming the victims, and justifying his war crimes.

Two crooks under serious investigations to meet. This must be some record.

  • Did an Emirates-Israel alliance Help elect Trump more than Russia?
    • marianna 03/04/2018 at 8:05 am

The fact that Israel is now best buddies with Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, is very interesting. It was the UAE that organized that secretive meeting in the Seychelles:
"The United Arab Emirates arranged a secret meeting in January between Blackwater founder Erik Prince and a Russian close to President Vladimir Putin as part of an apparent effort to establish a back-channel line of communication between Moscow and President-elect Donald Trump, according to U.S., European and Arab officials.

The meeting took place around Jan. 11 — nine days before Trump's inauguration — in the Seychelles islands in the Indian Ocean, officials said. Though the full agenda remains unclear, the UAE agreed to broker the meeting in part to explore whether Russia could be persuaded to curtail its relationship with Iran, including in Syria, a Trump administration objective that would likely require major concessions to Moscow on U.S. sanctions."

The Palestinians have been thrown under the bus by their own.

It is unbelievable that Saudi Arabia and the UAE have joined the zionists, in their efforts to bring the Qatari leadership down. Either that or Kushner is still sore that he did not get that gigantic investment from the Qatari's.

      Shame on the UAE.

  • Europe's big Plans for Iran Trade announce Independence from Trump's Washington
    • marianna 02/26/2018 at 6:20 am

Conclusion: Europe has seen through the efforts by the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia, to demonize, and delegitimize, Iran, and are doing what is right for their own nations. They send a strong message to the three trouble makers, that they are no longer relevant, and that cartoon bombs, and pieces of metal, are not very convincing. Good move.

Whatever happened to the "only" democracy in the Middle East, because they are trying to stifle free speech, and criticism, of Israel? Regev and Israel are behaving just as badly as some of their Arab neighbors that they love to point out, as an example of not having free speech, and not being democratic enough.

The truth must hurt, and it seems when it comes to their crimes being the focus, the Israelis can dish out but cannot take it.

I like to see Netanyahu try and blame "fake news" for the on going investigations into suspected corruption by himself, his wife, Sara, and his no good son, by the Israeli police.

It must be frustrating for him to not be able to say the occupation, and Israel's shameless crime of land theft, is "fake news". Any territories over the 1967 borders should be called "fake Israel" too.

    • marianna 01/23/2018 at 4:24 am with 1 replies

What Trump and Pence (the puppets of Netanyahu's crafty plan through Kushner) did was unconscionable. Maybe Pence was yet another duped evangelical, who believe that the Jews would roll out the red carpet for Jesus Christ to descend on during the second coming, but handing Jerusalem in a golden platter to the zionists will have long lasting consequences for moderate leaders like King Abdullah. Perhaps the question of many Christian churches been vandalized and burnt (and not many zionists charged for these crimes), will not be asked by Pence, for surely it is a very important topic, that this good Christian should be outraged about, and an answer demanded from Netanyahu?

    • marianna 01/05/2018 at 7:32 pm with 1 replies

In a more perfect world, the Iranian regime would take note of the people's demands, and start making appropriate reforms, long overdue. Why give nations like the US/Israel/Saudi Arabia the opportunity to keep picking on it? Nikki Hayley looks like a drama queen, when she keeps ignoring Israel's and Saudi Arabia's human rights abuses, and keeps harping on Iran's. The world can see right through the charade.

  • How Trump could avoid another $7 trillion bill in Mideast: Back off war with Iran
    • marianna 12/23/2017 at 6:48 pm

Americans never learn lessons from past mistakes. Yes, the signs are all there, Israel/Saudi/USA are all salivating at the thought of shocking and awing yet another Muslim nation (strange, all recent bombs fall on Muslim nations), and they keep looking for excuses to do so. On one side we have a boy dictator sending missiles close to our allies in the Far East, maybe on the brink of having nuclear weapons, and the war mongers keep wanting to have peace talks with him, Trump even saying he wants to be friends, then you have a nation that has never attacked it's neighbors for over 200 years, being monitored closely by UN nuclear experts, and still honoring it's agreement with other nations, but that does not seem to be good for the axis of evil, they keep pounding their chests and making war noises.

  • Nations of World at UN Humiliate Trump w/ Massive vote for Palestinians
    • marianna 12/22/2017 at 6:27 am with 3 replies

Apparently the Hon. Nikki Hayley, is hosting a party inviting the handful of nations that supported them by voting against the resolution, and who abstained, to thank them for their support.
You have got to wonder if Togo, Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, and others, who voted with the US and Israel, had their arms twisted, and were fearful their lunch money would be stopped. This was a resounding rejection of US/Israeli policies, and it is heartening to know that nations like Germany, the UK, France, Japan, New Zealand, Ireland, and many others, were not threatened, nor intimated by thuggish threats by Haley.
This is Trump paying the piper. Sheldon Adelson and wife donating more than 100 million dollars towards Trump's campaign, and Nikki Hayley also a recipient of that American zionist's generosity, worked hard, with Netanyahu's backing, to do what no other president has done. All previous Presidents have stated that they would not be moving the embassy to Jerusalem for security reasons, and here comes the orange bull in the china shop, doing exactly that.

  • Will Palestine Request Full UN Membership in January 2018?
    • marianna 12/20/2017 at 6:16 am

Why is the world hesitating about this? It is clear Trump and the USA, have no interests in doing the right thing for the Palestinians, and that American loyalties will always be for the occupier, who has made these poor occupied people live in limbo for many decades, stolen much of their lands, and America arms them with deadly weapons, that are used on them. Trump will alway be indebted to good ole' Shelly Adelson, who has poured in millions of dollars for his motherland, which resulted in Trump handing Jerusalem over on a golden platter, to the occupier. Trump will always do his bidding, as will Nikki Hayley, another zionist acquisition.

Why is there so much of foot dragging when it comes to the Palestinians, even by other Arab nations?. Don't they have the spine to stand up to the US, and do the humane thing for their long suffering brothers? Giving them their Statehood is long overdue.

  • Trump did This: Israeli Troops injure 150 Palestinian protesters in Palestine
    • marianna 12/16/2017 at 5:16 am with 3 replies

According to the Zionists, evangelicals, and US leaders in the White House and Congress, Palestinians (and Muslims), cannot resist, protest, or make demands, when they are occupied, shocked and awed, blockaded, have their lands stolen, homes demolished, families killed by Western and Israeli bombs, and if they do, they are referred to as "terrorists".

"Never again" is for the Jews, but when it comes to the Muslims, it is "again and again". The Palestinians have every right to be angry, and disappointed, by Trump's back stabbing policies, and perhaps this is a reality check that the US will NEVER be honest broker, and they have to re-think their plans to get their statehood, freedom, and lands back. The rest of the civilized world, must support them now.
Why is that scoundrel in law quiet now? Jared has done his bit for the motherland, and Netanyahu must be thrilled.

  • Over 700 Rohingya Children Killed by Myanmar Military

The world does not care. These are dirt poor Muslims, and no one seems to want to hold those responsible for these war crimes, and horrible massacre of helpless people, accountable. The brutal military junta of Myanmar should be sanctioned, until they stop the rape, attacks, and the ethnic cleansing, and all aid to them, stopped. The nations that supply deadly weapons, and train these killers, like Israel, must also be held accountable. Israel has been interfering and manipulating nations like Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, and still do.

  • Muslim Countries call for E. Jerusalem as Palestine Capital, reject US as Honest Broker
    • marianna 12/14/2017 at 3:27 am with 1 replies

The US was NEVER an honest broker at any point. Never.

Why did it take these Muslims nations so long to admit to it?
They cannot have it both ways, and should stop their dealings with the US, to show their disapproval for the way the Palestinians were stabbed in the back. From one President to another, the support for Israel, by aid, giving them weapons (used mostly to kil civilians), and the unwavering support at the UN by vetoes, whenever the UN wanted to pass a resolution condemning Israel's human rights violations, went on, and anyone could see that the US was complicit in the occupation, the land grabs, the mowing of the lawn, the collective punishment, and the civilian deaths. Are the Muslim nations feeling betrayed now?

It is time these Muslim nations did the right thing for the Palestinians, and recognized their statehood, and they should be given long overdue rights, dignity, and freedom. To hell with the US and Israel, if they object to it, after all they act like they are above international laws, and it is time the world treated them like pariah nations.
Now that the the rest of the world has shown it's anger against this idiotic move by Trump, to hand Jerusalem (getting nothing in return) over to an occupier, the Palestinians should ask them to support their statehood. I am sure many will.

    • marianna 12/07/2017 at 5:49 am

The best thing to fight Islamaphobia, and be strong to face the onslaught of anti Muslim campaigns, is UNITY. It is time the Muslim world UNITED and faced the endless attacks on their nations, and religion. It is time the Sunni and Shiites put aside their differences, and the made the Muslims stronger, and not a divided people. There are anti Muslim elements that deliberately divide the Muslim people, for devious reasons, and this division is playing into their hands. Muslim nations must stand up for each other, and play a bigger part fighting the anti Islam propaganda out there, and counter the Nina Rosenwald/Pamela Geller/Frank Gaffney, and other hate campaigns.

They should also realize they cannot rely on Saudi Arabia, to do the right thing for the Muslim world. It has hitched it's wagon to the American/zionist wagon, that is at the bottom of many volatile situations in the Muslim world, and conspiring to attack the Sunni world, especially Iran. Surely 1.6 billion Muslims can get their act together, and be a stronger force to be reckoned with? If the Jews can show unity, why not the Muslims?

Netanyahu is a slimy and crooked individual. He is a war monger, a liar, and his policies are not doing his people any good, unless you count going against international policies, and keeping the occupation, and land grabs going, as great.
He is ruthless, and deserves to face the ICC, for his endless crimes against the Palestinians. Shame on the US Congress for embracing this man, even defying their own President, and his policies, by inviting this snake to speak in Congress.

Netanyahu, through his good buddy Kushner, is taking advantage of Trump's insanity, to push for the US embassy to be moved to Jerusalem, going against the policies of all previous Presidents from both parties. As if this will give the Palestinians and the Arab world assurance, that the US is an honest broker.

When you look back at the many nations we shocked and awed, and the unnecessary wars we waged, which resulted in millions of Muslims killed, millions injured, and millions now refugees, we have a lot to be remorseful about, and should be ashamed that we who advocated for democracy, and equality, have been responsible for the brutal massacre of Muslims. We should also be held responsible for selling (and gifting) deadly weapons used by nations like Saudi Arabia, and Israel, who have been condemned by the rest of the world, for the senseless killing of civilians, in other nations. All that, but it never seems to stop us, or make us hesitate. Our foreign policies stink.

I agree. Had it been London, or New York, the media would have been covering it 24/7, but since these are Muslims, no one really cares. Muslim lives are cheap, look at the number of those massacred, injured, and made refugees, because of Western bombs, and you see no remorse, or those responsible, being held accountable, for what some call a genocide.

Jared the novice, has no clue about achieving peace in this conflict, and is playing adult games that he knows nothing about. It is time Abbas stepped down and allowed a younger and stronger leader to handle this. It has been many years, and he is still in square one. These false promises have been going on for too long. • The Civil War inside Buddhism caused Ethnic Cleansing of Muslims
    • marianna 11/15/2017 at 6:55 am with 1 replies

Buddhism has always been a religion of peace, compassion, and tolerance. But like many other religions, it has been poisoned by extremists, who many suspect are doing the bidding of foreign entities, with their own devious agenda.
Sri Lanka also a Buddhist nation, is also contending with tensions between the majority Buddhists (70 percent) and the Muslims (9 percent). Strangely the same propaganda being spread in Myanmar, has been used to cause fear and suspicion among the Buddhists in Sri Lanka, the same false stories of Muslims taking over the country (statistically impossible), Muslims converting Buddhist women, and that the candy given free at Muslim shops make Buddhist women barren.
These far fetched stories are believed by the uneducated, and the racists, turning them against the minority.
This could mean the same evil forces behind this organized anti Muslim campaign are behind both nations. Both Myanmar and Sri Lankan campaigns were started, and these lies spread, by terrorist Buddhist monks, who make hate speeches, lead the mobs, and attack Muslim shops, Mosques, and homes. In both nations the Buddhist leaders say and do NOTHING to stop the murders, attacks, and harassment of the minority.
Suu Kyi does not utter one word of condemnation either.
So far, the problem in Sri Lanka is minor compared to Myanmar.

Why are the western nations that condemn the massacre in Myanmar not condemning Israel and other nations for selling the weapons that kill these innocent civilians, and used to threaten, rape, and kill babies? Israel must have trained this brutal military to use the weapons they sell. Where there is trouble around the world, you will find the fingerprints of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Russia, or the US.
Unlike the Muslims, all Buddhists are not deemed violent, and their religion deemed "evil", despite the massacre, rape, and violence, against unarmed civilians by extremists, which is how it should be.

    • marianna 10/10/2017 at 6:57 am

In the end, it looks like Iran is honoring its signature on the pact, and not the world's greatest democracy. How can any nation trust us to keep our word, when we have got out of two major agreements under Trump, the Paris agreement, and the Iranian nuclear deal? It is embarrassing.

    • marianna 09/27/2017 at 6:47 am

SA is desperately trying to improve their image, which at the moment is really bad. No image consultant can change or improve it, until SA stops bombing Yemen, and conspiring with Israel to cause mischief around the world. It also has to stop trying to radicalize Muslims in other nations, and getting involved in proxy wars with Iran. Just like their good buddy, Israel, no amount of consultants, hasbara, and good samaritan actions, can change what the world knows, and sees, when it comes to human rights violations.

  • Rohingya crisis: this is what genocide looks like
    • marianna 09/24/2017 at 9:43 am

This is a very sad situation. The world just watches the brutality and horrors of ethnic cleansing, wags it's fingers at Suu Kyi, who has turned out to be a fraud, who spoke of democracy while under house arrest, and is not doing anything to help those who are being killed, raped, tortured, and have their homes burnt. They have been given NO rights, no state support, and have been in limbo for years. These poor people have indeed been called all the ugly racist names, and blamed for their plight. Their history can be traced back to the 11th century, so why haven't they been given even basic voting rights?

The UK is supposed to stop all military training with the Myanmar military because of their treatment of the Rohingya, but that is not enough. How about the Western nations demanding that Israel stop selling arms to this brutal regime, and stop the training. One cannot but help but think that once again, Israel has it's fingerprints on this one too. I guess they have had good experience in handling unarmed, stateless people, after all they have been using those very weapons on those helpless civilians too.
The same tactic of inciting Buddhists by using a terrorist Buddhist monk, spreading false anti Muslim rumors, like the Muslims (small minority) taking over the majority Buddhist nation, and sowing the seeds of hatred in ignorant minds, have been used in Sri Lanka too, and many in Sri Lanka suspect the zionists are behind that explosive situation as well. You have got to wonder if this is all part of the huge anti Muslim campaign, being waged by pro Israel elements, and wealthy Americans like Nina Rosenwald, who is investing millions of dollars in this racist campaign. There are outside elements in the Buddhist nations who have provoked this hornet's nest, which has resulted in this carnage. You just have to follow the money.

  • Iranian Leader: Trump is "Disturbed," speaks like a Cowboy or Mobster
    • marianna 09/22/2017 at 2:24 pm

Trump is so clueless. He is handling these volatile situations, just like he did the primaries, and running against Clinton. This is not Little Marco, or Lying Ted. The insults, and juvenile name calling, are not going to solve, or diffuse the situation.
For a serious lack of a solid policy, or any solution, he makes up by tweeting insults or making threatening speeches, which only makes it worse. Hillary Clinton was right, this man does NOT have the temperament to be President, and the nation could be on the brink of a nuclear war, if not handled correctly. He DOES NOT know more than all the Generals either.

It is unbelievable that Americans did not want to vote for an Ex Senator, and Secretary of State, with years of experience, and instead went for a con man, whose experience lies in organizing beauty pageants, and reality shows. It is frightening.

It seems he is being prodded by Netanyahu to keep going after Iran, Netanyahu desperate to get the US to wage that war. Since Obama did not yield to the zionists, it seem they have picked on a clueless president, who may not know where Iran is on a map.

  • Trump blasts Iran for backing Syria, ignores Russia, Praises Saudis
    • marianna 09/20/2017 at 1:14 pm

Trump has divided this country, and he is now working on the world. By now the rest of the world gets it. He can be selective in his outrage, accuses others of what his favorite nations like Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Israel, are also guilty of, and overlooks their crimes. The US and Israel has a long, ugly record of bombing other nations, and it will be hard to convince the world that it is Iran that can't be trusted with deadly weapons. Do as I say not as I do.

    • marianna 09/14/2017 at 6:34 am

Shame on those Muslim nations for working with these people who either work for Trump, or agrees with his racist policies. While Trump was ranting about banning Muslims from entering the US, nations like Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, were wheeling and dealing with him, and members of his campaign. It is also obvious that the Muslim nations that have properties with his name on buildings and Golf courses, have special privileges, including no ban, and the Trumps, including Ivanka and Eric, make money off those Muslims. Trump's base must be not very smart to not fathom it all out.

  • Saudi Arabia wants to improve Image; Here's How
    • marianna 09/13/2017 at 6:21 am

All good points Prof. Cole, but something tells me Saudi Arabia will not be willing to follow that path. It is up to Saudi Arabia to take the lead and bring unity to the Islamic world, and accept other branches/denominations of the religion, especially the Shiites, which will mean making peace with Iran, but that would make their BFF Israel unhappy. I would say changing their terrible image is simply a ploy, an eyewash, they can afford the top PR firms around the world to help them, make a show of reforming, but are they truly able to put their differences aside, and unite the Muslims under one umbrella, stop the war mongering, and trying to influence Muslims in other nations to follow Wahhabism? You can't teach old dogs new tricks. If only they followed your advice, the Islamic world will be better served.

  • What will Iran do if Trump tears up the Nuclear Agreement?
    • marianna 09/12/2017 at 1:00 pm

At this point it seems Iran is willing to join the world community, and Trump USA is not. He has distanced this country from many joint international issues, including the Paris Accords, isolating our nation, from important issues, where we previously showed leadership, and initiative. Trump only needs other nations when he wants to expand his business by building hotels, golf course, or where Ivanka's many businesses will benefit. Luckily the Iran nuclear deal has other signatories, who have already signaled that they are not going to join the Trump anti Iranian move.
It is strange how Trump embraces Russia, does not utter a single negative word about it, and yet demonizes Iran for no valid reason. Perhaps Netanyahu may be sending Trump cartoon bombs occasionally!

Lastly, it goes without saying that this is yet another Obama accomplishment, that Trump will want destroyed.

We have seen the hand wringing by international bodies, and the condemnation by many nations, yet no one seems to be acting swiftly to end the massacre. I have noticed anti Muslim trolls blaming the victims in many comment sections, and blaming the religion for what the 80 percent Buddhist majority, whose military is armed with weapons supplied by Israel, are perpetrating crimes against these poor people. Perhaps it is the same vile Hasbara gang, trying to justify the violence, so that Israel can sell more weapons. It is time the world collectively sanctioned Myanmar, stopped all aid sent there, and took back the Nobel Peace Prize mistakenly given to Suu Kyi, keeps condoning the violence by her silence, and who must be held responsible for doing nothing to help the world's most persecuted human beings.

First and foremost, I doubt she even knows the meaning of "sharia", she is just spewing the hateful anti Muslim rhetoric that comes from anti Muslim groups. Not knowing the difference between a Sikh and a Muslim is another mistake these ignorant people make. Lastly the way she acts and speaks clearly shows a bad upbringing, and obviously she has many issues that make her act this way.

This is a good idea to prevent the Muslims from getting influenced by the Wahhabis, and starting to wear the black abayas, which is not the national attire of the people of Tajikistan. Saudi Arabia has tried to influence too many Muslim nations, and spread their brand of the religion. Muslim nations, and Muslims living in other nations, must try to resist this influence, and stick to their own cultures and national clothing. Many ignorant Muslims seem to believe that Saudi Arabia represents the true form of the religion, and readily accepts it's rules and regulations, including unsuitable attire.

With Trump setting the standards, and tone in this country, the anti Muslim rhetoric we keep hearing, from him, and from right wing media, trolls on many websites, and the Islamaphobes like Gaffney, Geller, and others, financed by pro Israel Americans like Nina Rosenwald, Muslims will need more than a civil rights movement to fight this demon.

Many world agencies have estimated millions of Muslim have been killed by Western nations for the past few decades, and with the anti Muslim campaign started, and funded by pro Israeli Americans (like Nina Rosenwald), it has always been portrayed that it is Muslims who are the aggressors, and any innocent civilians killed by drones or bombs, either deserve it, or the Western nations and media simply shrugs it off.

Suu Kyi has turned out to be a huge disappointment, pretending to be all out for democracy while under house arrest, and now doing NOTHING for the minority in the country. Why was she given that Nobel peace prize again? Turkey apparently has offered Bangladesh the finances to take these poor people in, but that is yet to be seen. This inhumane treatment of these helpless people has been totally ignored, and even the US keeps sending the criminal government aid, which simply enables them. Meanwhile the women and children and brutally attacked and killed.

Al Jazeera has been quite critical of Israel, like they have been to other ME nations, in their documentaries, which must make Netanyahu so mad that he joins the other pariah nations to silence a voice that has highlighted the inhumane treatment of others. Today there was a report that Jared Kushner's business deal of buying that now infamous no.666 building in Manhattan for $1.8 billion has been a dismal failure, and he had turned to Qatar for a $500 million loan, which was turned down. This may explain Kushner cozying up to Saudi, and the US stance on the Gulf conflict, which is going against Qatar.
The Trump's anti Muslim rhetoric and policies are sheer hypocrisy. The entire family seems to have no qualms doing business in wealthy Muslim nations, and making money off them, or getting loans off them. Disgusting.

Trump has cheapened the Presidency by his erratic behavior unbecoming, and totally inappropriate, for a President. It has been five months of investigations, unethical practices, nepotism, millions spent on golf trips to HIS golf courses, firings of officials investigating his administration, and accusations of fake news, when he himself sets the agenda with his twitter rants, and the nation also had to watch him attack President Obama and make wild, unsubstantiated accusations against him, with no apologies to follow, and you have to be naive to think that this miserable failure is doing anything for the people in this country. People are sick of this President, and the poll numbers show that. What kind of President has time to go on twitter rants so early in his Presidency? • Marianna 05/26/2017 at 6:19 am with 1 replies

If Russia wanted to cause chaos in America, all he had to do was not drop bombs over New York or Washington DC, but interfere in our elections and make sure a dishonest narcissistic man, with absolutely no experience, became President, and then sit back and laugh. As Americans we must all be embarrassed that we sent this ugly American to represent us in Brussels. He made an idiot of himself, publicly chided NATO members, and pushed his way to pose for pictures (just like Netanyahu in Paris). All cringe worthy.
He is making our allies our enemies, and our enemies our friends. Who is going to stop him now?

  • Are Iran and Saudi Arabia Heading Toward War?
    • Marianna 05/20/2017 at 9:42 pm

Most of the saber rattling seems to come from the Saudi/Israel/US side. Of course they will eventually bomb Iran, they have been working towards that for years, including the time Netanyahu held up a cartoon bomb at the UN. It would also explain why the US is selling $340 billion worth of weapons to SA. After a while the proxy wars will go nowhere, then we will all hear about how dangerous Iran is, and how much the region is threatened by them, and these three nations will bang the drums of war.

  • Trump calls Special Counsel a "Witch Hunt": But what is his relation to Russia?
    • Marianna 05/19/2017 at 6:13 pm with 1 replies

NO other administration has had this many connections to Russia. I have lost count, but at least SEVEN Trump officials have had secretive meetings, and phone calls, with Russian agents. No other American President has openly admired and supported the Russian tyrant Putin, and shown him that much of respect, that he does not give President Obama, a fellow American. Talks of business deals, money laundering, sale of real estate to Russian oligarchs, somehow keep haunting Donald Trump, his sons, his son in law, and their various businesses, and many of these accusations have turned out to be true. It is hard to believe that an American President will invite officials from this pariah nation into the White House, and reveal classified information, this is all surreal. It is hard to believe that Trumps supporters have embraced all this, and keep supporting him, despite the fact that investigations may lead to treason charges. If this was Obama or Hillary, you can only imagine how loud the outrage would be, accusations of treason by right wingers, and the chants of "lock her up" would be heard in every Republican rally. Now they are all noticeably quiet.

  • Russians Troll Trump, release Photos of Meeting
    • Marianna 05/12/2017 at 7:47 am

It is either arrogance or plain stupidity, that at the height of accusations that Trump fired Comey because of the Russian investigations, Trump flaunts these Russian officials in the White House, bringing in more attention to his problems.
As for the claim by the WH that they were fooled by the Russian media, it shows that they are stupid, in a very dangerous way.

    • Marianna 05/09/2017 at 6:30 am with 1 replies

It has been just over 100 days, and Trump has done everything wrong, been unbelievably dishonest, and has refused to follow protocol. What kind of President ignores warnings about an official that is under heavy suspicion by the intelligence officials for having ties to an enemy nation? Anyone with half a brain would have taken President Obama's warning very seriously, especially when it was backed by an US Attorney many times. It is despicable that Trump once again blamed Obama for not vetting Flynn, but the bottom line is they did, and he was fired. What kind of President re-hires a flawed candidate especially with the possibility he could be involved in treason? From Trump to his mouthpiece Spicer, they all lie.

  • Trump's Real sin in DC is not distinguishing between "Good" and "Bad" Dictators
    • Marianna 05/02/2017 at 6:30 am

Trump has no clue about diplomacy and openly praising a leader like Kim Jung Un, saying he is a smart cookie, and he will be honored to meet him, is first and foremost, a weak position to be in. No American leader must and should shower praise on a man who has threatened the US, defies the world and keeps sending missiles around the neighborhood. Trump seems to have mental problems, and it is frightening to see it simply gets worse by the day. He is doing a lot of damage, and no one seems able to control it.

    • Marianna 04/19/2017 at 7:58 am

This will cause dread and fear in the evil hearts of islamaphobes. It is sad that millions of Muslims have been killed in these recent wars waged by the US and it's allies, and no one, not even some Arab nations are outraged by this. In fact some of them even join in these wars for their own devious reasons. Muslim lives do not matter when it comes to the US and it's allies. This is an interesting study.

    • Marianna 03/31/2017 at 7:37 am

The man who once said that if you are given immunity, it means you are guilty of something, now want immunity. The irony of it all. At least at this late stage of the game, it would be good for the good American, to be honest and tell the nation, exactly what America's enemy has been up to, how much they have corrupted our system, and why so many of the Trump's aides have been caught sleeping with the enemy, this includes favorite son in law Jared too.

  • Are Progressives Suffering from Trump Fatigue?
    • Marianna 03/30/2017 at 2:30 am

It has been only some weeks since this man became President, and we have seen too many investigations, false accusation of wiretapping, strong signs of Russian interference in our political system, and many Trump associates having alarming number of secretive meetings and calls, and then not revealing it, the high cost of security detail for Trump, his wife, 5 children, their spouses, his grandkids, and maybe his ex wives, and watch his fail predictably, trying to get healthcare and the ban on Muslims. All this costs the nation too much, turmoil, anger, and the indications are, the nation will suffer so much, and go backwards, not forwards.
Trump is totally incompetent, unqualified and does not have the temperament to lead this country. A man who seem to delegate to his son and daughter in law, both novices in running a country, and prefers to spend weekends, not learning and trying to lead, but playing golf does not bode well for this nation.

  • After Trump Massacres in Mosul, Campaign against ISIL Halted
    • Marianna 03/26/2017 at 9:06 am with 3 replies

This is reprehensible, to say the least. The US and it 's allies keep making these "mistakes" and the results are always that hundreds of innocent civilians are killed, at funerals, weddings, homes, market places, anywhere people congregate, and there is always some feeble excuse that is not acceptable. Americans have to stop wondering why we are hated, and realize that these massacres could be the tool that extremists use, to recruit and retaliate. Millions of Muslims killed, millions injured, and millions homeless, results in anger, and no one can fault these people for feeling anger after seeing their families being wiped out, maimed and suffering. These are the reasons why we keep making enemies, our own stupid policies and actions. We should stop interfering in other nations, and stop bombing innocent civilians. If these were white Christian, we would not be bombing so carelessly, and besides, we seem to be only bombing Muslims nations non stop. People whine that Americans are targets of terrorism, but what are we doing to bring it upon ourselves?

Comey's last minute ditch to help Trump win, has hurt the nation. The emails he released (despite being advised not to) turned out to be nothing, but it may have hurt Hillary too much.
Today we are cursed with a President, who has only divided the nation, but acts like he has no class, education, or dignity, and has lied almost daily to the American people. It would have been good to hear someone in the panel address this, and ask him if he though he did the right thing then.

  • How Much of Globe's Humanitarian Crisis is Fault of US?
    • Marianna 03/12/2017 at 1:03 pm

There is no doubt the US is much to be blamed, for starting unnecessary wars, being involved in the toppling of Arab leaders, arming and training rebels, selling weapons to Saudi Arabia, and conspiring with Israel to interfere, and promote turmoil, in many of these nations - resulting in the deaths of millions of people, millions more injured, and millions made into refugees, and displaced, because they have had to flee the bombs and the violence. Now the US whines about accepting refugees, and cannot face the consequences of their own actions. Shame. If millions of Jewish or Christian people were killed, imagine the outrage we would be hearing today.

    • Marianna 03/09/2017 at 5:36 am

So they should be concerned. This new president has shown nothing but a sick obsession for Putin, has had at least 6 members of his administration have secretive calls and meetings with Russian elements, and with the growing evidence that Russian agents have hacked and interfered in our elections, and the possibility that they are doing the same in other nations, should make anyone concerned about the security of this country, and ask for investigations. If Russia wanted to bring the US down, the ideal way would be to manipulate the elections, put a clown in the White House, and the rest will follow.

Science has been ridiculed and intellectuals ignored, because it suits this administration to make nice with those who put their anti environmental businesses first, take over, and destroy the environment. Trump is taking the US backwards, and will never recover, while the rest of the world, even China, is trying to make this top priority for the world. This is a health issue, and has serious consequences, which Trump is too ignorant to realize.

You are right Prof. Cole, Obama has been blamed for many things going wrong in Trumps life, and for things Trump brought upon himself, and should be careful that some insane deplorable with a weapon does not take his anger out of him. The US is going through turmoil, and instead of uniting the nation and trying to lead, this man spends his time staying up early hours of the morning and going on a twitter tirade, making things up, with no evidence, and accusing Obama of what officials call "nonsense". I guess when your staff is being investigated for what may become Russia gate, you have to try to make the nation look the other way.

    • Marianna 02/28/2017 at 7:53 pm

He can NEVER act like a decent person and take responsibility for anything. This is how it is going to be. Every blunder (like Yemen), every lie that goes out of control, and for every hate crime that has been instigated by him, will be passed on to Obama, the Democrats, other world leaders, Muslims, Mexicans, even Melania's plagiarism was blamed on some junior member of staff. This man will press the red nuclear button, and blame the enemy for that (not Russia for sure).

    • Marianna 02/28/2017 at 7:56 am

It's the "blame everyone else but myself" game, and if anyone blamed him (rightfully so) it was all fake news. This man does not have the temperament to be President, he is juvenile, vindictive, and very loose with facts. He has shown he is a cheap person by blaming his predecessor, a no-no usually, as other Presidents have never bad mouthed the ones before. He has been known for starting fakes news, by calling media outlets, calling himself John Miller or John Barron (seems to like that name, so what a coincidence his son was called Barron), pretending he is a new recruit in the Trump organization, and give the false bits of news that HE wanted the media to write, and get control over what was said. Fake news was first initiated by the Orange Jackass, now he simply accuses others of the same thing. Dirty habits die hard.

If this was part of the Hillary Clinton administration, the right would be howling with outrage, playing the part of indignant Americans who are besides themselves at how immoral the Clinton administration is, but here you are, the Republicans seem to be uncharacteristically open minded, accepting racists, disturbing connections to Russia, tweeter wars, the feuds with Australia and Sweden, and Bannon, all in their stride. There is no hope for this country. It is run by rotten eggs with disturbing connections be it Russia or a man named Milo who seem to approve of pedophilia.

    • Marianna 02/20/2017 at 8:04 am

So isn't it time Netanyahu and the zionists stopped playing the " Palestinians rejected peace deals", card, which was always ridiculous when you consider the 60 years long occupation, the on going land grabs and acres of illegal settlements, the blockades, the mowing of the lawn, the Palestinian kids being thrown in jail kidnapped in the middle of the night, and abused? Only the ignorant will keep believing that victims of an occupation prefers the status quo, the occupation, and keep suffering this way. Netanyahu was offered fighter jets worth millions of dollars just to get his behind to sit for peace talks, and they turned it down too. Israel has the upper hand and plenty of Palestinian land and water, and keeps offering the Palestinians a pittance. It is time Americans got wise to this stupid charade. Israel does not want peace, it prefers the status quo, so that they can continue to steal all the lands, and deprive the occupied of their freedom. Netanyahu has already said there will be no 2SS, so what is the world waiting for?

This man makes it up as he goes along. He has no fear about lying and getting caught doing it. He knows his supporters are not smart enough to research and find out the truth. They have drunk too much of the koolaid and will believe anything he or his administration says. Politicians lie, but Trump's whoppers are frequent, bold, and the rest of the world knows it. It is embarrassing to have such man who has no principles, honesty, and credibility, be leader of the US. I have travelled to many nations recently, and most people ask me how Americans could vote for this man, he is looked upon as a joke, or dangerous.
